There is a long list of important dates for every taxpayer’s diary in the coming weeks, and we at Contractor Weekly felt it would be helpful to remind our readers of these important deadlines to avoid any potential catastrophes.
1st August 2011 – SME’s (Small and Medium Businesses) must pay corporation tax liabilities by this date, for accounting periods ended 31st October 2010.
2nd August 2011 – P46 form (Car) must be filed by this date, for quarter ended 5th July 2011.
7th August 2011 – Electronic submissions and payments for VAT for 30th June 2011 quarter to be completed by this date.
19th August 2011 – Payment of PAYE, CIS and NIC liabilities by cheque for month ended 5th August 2011.
19th August 2011 – CIS300 monthly filing deadline for the month ended 5th August 2011.
19th August 2011 – Filing deadline for CIS tax return for month ended 5th August 2011.
22nd August 2011 – Payment of PAYE, CIS and NIC liabilities electronically for month ended 5th August 2011.
31st August 2011 – Companies House should have received the following by this date – Accounts of private companies with 30th November 2010 year end, Accounts of public limited companies with year ending 28th February 2011.
31st August 2011 – HMRC should have received the following by this date – Corporation tax self-assessment returns for accounting period that ended on 31st August 2010, VAT payments and returns for the quarter ended 31st July 2011.
